Flannel

What ho,
I've finally made a start on the Christmas presents!
I've cut out the PJ bottoms (and yes I'm cheating on the tops and planning to use premade tee shirts!)

There will be 3 pairs made from the dark blue/black with stars, 2 pairs form the cat fabric and my lad wanted the clouds!
just need to get sewing now!

My busy weekend

What ho,
I'm feeling abit tired today. I craft faired all weekend.
I expected the saturday fair to be slow as it just a little church one but it provides a good chance for me to gossip to my mum.
The sunday one was at coventry transport museum, it was a tad slow and although plenty of people looked and comented on how nice my things were there wasn't much buying going on!

anyway - here are some piccys of my stall

he he, mum is hiding

clothes including christmas dresses and waistcoats

last minute pincushions

fat christmas birdies
its the same basic set up on sunday

except the people on the table next to me didn't come so me and the ladies the other side spread out!
Oh well, it does mean i have plenty to put on folksy and/or etsy.

a christmassy post

What ho,
the Christmas lights are on in Birmingham, the German market is being set up and Starbucks has it red cup drinks available, Christmas is well and truly on it way.
Due to this i decided it was time i made the Christmas puddings
I soak the fruit in baileys and then follow Nigella's chocolaty Christmas pudding recipe. Finger crossed they are as yummy as last year!

I have also been making some festive frocks for my craft fair stalls.
holly print with a red ribbon

stockings

Really glad i had some of the matching red in this print, it works well for the sash.

holly type leaves and small cream flowers, very pretty.

cream satiney sash
What do you think? Really hoping that they sell!

Halloween - abit late

Morning (or what ever time of day greeting it is for where and when you are),
OK, its late but we had half term last week so i have no chance to blog it - so here is Halloween.
not very scary cat!

Stupid death (horrible histories style)

yes, i had face paint

home made shirt

my final look!
OK, my fake blood is abit red but i impressed my self with the sticking of a cheap plastic cleaver to a shirt! I know my lad is holding it in the picture but it is attached and stayed so which really made me chuffed!

Other than that I've been making some bags for the forthcoming craft fairs I'm doing -
